Wash standing in the shower, not tipping your head forward over a bath. Wet the hair, apply sulphate-free shampoo to the scalp and roots, and massage gently between the bonds with your fingertips. Let the lather run down the length rather than piling the hair on top of your head.
Conditioner and the bonds
Apply conditioner from the mid-lengths to the ends, keeping it away from the capsules. Rich oils and heavy masks near the bonds can soften the keratin over time. Rinse thoroughly so no product sits on the hair.
After washing
Squeeze out water with a towel, never rub or twist. Dry the roots and the bonds first with a dryer on a low setting, then the length. Never sleep with wet hair or wet bonds.
