Cleaning between the bonds
The scalp still needs proper cleansing with extensions in. When you wash, massage a sulphate-free shampoo gently between the bonds with your fingertips. This clears oil and product that would otherwise build up around the capsules.
Keep it dry
A damp scalp under a full head of hair can get itchy. Dry the roots fully after washing and avoid going to bed with a wet scalp. In Dubai's heat, an occasional light rinse keeps the roots fresh between washes.
Watch for problems
Some tightness in the first day or two is normal. Ongoing itching, soreness or flaking is not, and means the bonds may be too tight or the scalp needs attention. Contact the master if that happens.
